The scraper is made from durable beechwood and includes no bristles that can break loose and end up in your food. The leading edge of the scraper features a scalloped design that when used will form to your specific grill grates, giving you a custom cleaning each time. The more you use the scraper, the better it will form to your grates. The center grip handle allows the user to apply more pressure when cleaning, giving you the ability to break up even the toughest messes on your grilling surface.

The concept of this product is awesome! I have been using this for around 2 years and I love it. I usually turn my grill for about 10 minutes. Then I will use it to break up all of the hard baked on scum on the grates. It’s nice being able to clean your grill without the harsh chemicals and nasty wire brushes! It’s super durable and it’s not difficult to use!

Not sized for all grills. Had to round file the right spacing but it’s great now

It gets the bulk of the stuff off the grill. I like how it gets better the more you use it, the grooves become more defined.

I appreciate how well this fits with the grill of my pellet grill and how easy it is to use despite my lack of strength.

I had an old-school Weber steel-bristle grill brush for years that I was happy with, up until I found a 1/2" metal bristle in a hamburger. This doesn't work great in comparison for cleaning, but I can tell you I'd 100% rather find a small bit of wood than a small bit of steel wire in my burgers.

I have a Traeger pellet smoker and I use this wood scraper to clean it. Works good. Gets the tops and kinda in between the rack as well. Also won't leave anything behind like a wire brush or something like that.

This is a chonky boi.I've played around with a few of the wooden grill scraper "oars" before, this one is about twice the chonk of those. I don't know why I wasn't expecting it to be big, I guess the measurements in my head are different than online? LOL. I honestly don't think it quite needs to be this huge, that's the only reason for the 4/5 vs 5/5.It works great though. Cleans the grill off without trapping and storing the black ooze like the spiral "not a brush" metal ones do. Then there's the added bonus of I won't ever pull a metal grill brush bristle out of my gum again (not as much fun as it sounds).Cleaning off the end after use is a quick couple of wipes with a paper towel. It comes with a leather strap attached to the end handle, so hooking a little carabiner to it so it can hang from the bar on my grill was super easy.I'd rather have it without the pre-cut grooves, allowing me to burn-in where the grates on my grill are, but they were close enough that they worked very well. Now it's just a waiting game to see how long it holds up. The second handle on the top flat of the board is firmly attached with two screws. I don't think that's going to be a fail point, but I'll use it until it stops working.

If the cut out groves were tighter I believe it would clean the grates better. Only ok and wouldn’t purchase again. Nice quality overall.
