With all the trouble with this original order which came damaged, and replacement order which never came to me, I require a discount to this order. All these delays makes trouble for me with the project I'm working on and this part puts a hold of finishing my project.

Very easy to install. I already had my air damn off, so it only took about 20-30 minutes to install. Seems sturdy. If you happen to be curious (as I was), it does does work with a body lift. I have a 1.25” Rough Country body lift to compliment my suspension lift. I hoped it would work and it fits fine.

Installed today and ran into some hiccups so here are a couple tips. Install took less than an hour. My front air dam was previously removed for a beefier look so I didn't have to worry about that trimming. The skid plate you don't have to remove or trim as the directions state, but you to have to remove the 2 front bolts that secure the skid plate and discard them. When the hitch is mounted the skid plate will then be wedged in between the hitch and front frame support and it won't go anywhere (if you don't remove the 2 front skid plate bolts the hitch will not mount flush and the mounting holes will not align). Also, I had a tough time fishing the bolt and metal plate through the frame rails for the side mounts. They kept getting hung up and I didn't want to pull too hard and risk losing the hardware in the frame. I realized the sway bar frame mounts had bolts sticking through the bottom of the frame rail. I backed the sway bar mount bolts out a little (didn't remove all the way) and the hardware was easily able to be fished past now and be secured to the hitch. Just some food for thought. Also, in regards to shipping my box came torn completely up. I was nervous to open it, but the hitch was secured nicely inside with styrofoam and the hardware was secured in the hitch sleeve so no worries there. I would recommend this hitch to anyone.

2016 Colorado Crew Cab LT 2.8 Diesel long bed. Curt 31074 Front hitch.Arrive very well packaged, all parts necessary included. Hitch had no marks or scrapes upon arrival.Install took less than 1 hr. Very straight forward. Drove truck front wheels up on ramps, used a motorcycle hydraulic roll around lift to lift the hitch into place after removing the skid plate. Then marked and cut the lower air dam to fit. Raised hitch back up. 4 bolts, top 2 bolts go in thru the center, bolts on the outside, btm bolts come in from the front, nuts on the engine side.Very simple install using the provided bolt guides. The btm nuts are a little difficult to get to, once the bolt is in place lower the hitch so it pinches the bolt and holds it in place, then use two fingers to start the nust and finger tighten. Use a ratchet boxed 17mm wrench to then tighten. You DONOT need to remove the air dam to install. Its tight but doable, I've got big hands and missing my index finger on predominant hand but still got them on with out messing with the air dam.I installed the plastic skid plate back in using only the rear bolts, the hitch holds the front in just fine.

The only cutting was the valance, and had to remove the 2 bolts on the front of the skid plate to get the front mounting hardware in. The fish tape makes getting the bolts in very easy.
