Your cart is empty.A CURT custom wiring connector (sometimes called a T-connector) is a simple, plug-and-play electrical device that eliminates the need for cutting, splicing and soldering when installing vehicle-to-trailer wiring. Most vehicles do not come ready to tow. Unless your vehicle has a towing package, it is probably not equipped with a trailer wiring connector. This is where CURT's custom wiring connectors come into play. A custom wiring connector uses a single original equipment plug to plug into a special socket provided by your vehicle. Though this option is not available on every vehicle, some automotive manufacturers design their vehicles to be easily equipped for towing by supplying a socket, integrated into the vehicle's electrical system, to readily accept a custom wiring connector. With a CURT custom wiring connector, there is no need to tap into the taillight assembly because a special socket is already provided. This special custom wiring connector actually provides two connector sockets for a multipurpose option. It plugs into an OEM USCAR connector and offers a 4-way flat and 6-way round connector (see application info to verify fitment with your vehicle). It also comes with a mounting bracket for easy installation. CURT custom wiring connectors are designed to be long-lasting and simple to install. They come with dust covers to keep your connector clean when not in use.

Was not the correct wiring harness to match the factory harness on the car like it said and since I didn’t have time to return it because I needed it then I had to cut the connectors off the Curt’s harness and the cars factory harness, extend the wires on the Curt’s harness ( they were barely 6” long) and connect each wire under the vehicle.

I did not use this as it was intended. I needed the 6 pin and 4 pin connections for my trailers. I could not find another connector like this for this price. I cut the other end off and spliced it into my circuitry. It seems to work very well.

I purchased this for my 2019 Ford F-150 XLT. With everything saying that it would fit my truck. It dose not. I would highly recommend that you double check your plug on your truck. I failed to do that and I had to purchase the one that does fit. Ford has 2 plug types around one (that’s on this socket) and a flat plug witch is what mine was. Keep in mind the flat plug is much harder to locate.

I bought this for my 2013 Nissan frontier because Amazon garage said it fit. After I placed the order I was curious if it would and did some research and found out it wouldn't.

This was the perfect product for me @ $18.50 just to give it a shot. I have a 2015 Audi Q7 with the factory trailer package(But they dont come with connectors). there is a square cover that covers the universal wiring harness, first remove it find the connector, assemble the harness(You will have to put a slight angle on the mount) plug it in and mount the plate back thru t

So easy to install, really just plug it in. 2005 Chevy Suburban. I didn't have any factory towing package and installed a universal fit Reese trailer hitch and this wiring connector. The only problem was no mounting point for the harness bracket, so I just used zip ties.
