So. Overall this is a cool mask, it seems to have been reasonably well made in regards to material choices and strength of construction, considering it's a toy for all intents and purposes. That said, the design overall definitely has it's quirks. Contrary to what it states, it's definitely not one size fits all, though it probably will fit most, there were some unusual choices made in regards to how it attaches to your head, which leads me to believe whoever designed this, probably did not get the chance to do much R&D on how best to attach a helmet to a head, as this is definitely not the way. While the product page says that this is held on by velcro, indeed that is not the case, rather here we have elastic bands with plastic friction stopping clips to keep 4 different bands to a set level of tightness, and unfortunately instead of this mask/helmet resting on top of your head, it sadly works by applying pressure to the back of your head while the mask presses into the front of your face/jaw... Which would be okay I suppose, if the interior of the mask was actually molded to the general shape of a face, but again sadly not the case, rather we have 3 pads, one of which does an acceptable job of providing a breathing space for your mouth, the other two do a somewhat acceptable job of padding your cheeks as they're squeezed between the elastic and the face mask. Unfortunately there is no place for a nose to go, so depending on the size of your nose, it will probably just press awkwardly into the front of the mask, if you have a very tiny nose you may not have this issue, but for those of us with medium-large honkers, sad to say your nose will be booped by the inside of the mask regardless of what you do. Another oddity about this mask, though somewhat expected among masks in general, it does limit vision significantly, and not so much in regards to degrees left and right field of view, but rather it cuts off maybe 60-70% of your vertical field of view downward, so it makes you want to lean your face down to be able to see, or pull the mask farther down than it really ought to be, unfortunately the plastic decorations on top of the mask also protrude into your field of view and significantly more than they really need too, all that said, field of view is still not that terrible, when compared to other full face masks. It does a pretty good job of not fogging up, and that is one of the harder things about making an item like this so I really have to give them credit for that. I also like the aesthetic choices made in regards to the selection of materials used, they did a very good job of finding bits and pieces to go on this mask that are tactile/clicky as well as having a futristic or at least, mechanical look a bit beyond what typical versions of these items usually have, for example much of the face mask is adorned with clips that would probably work pretty well as a belt or bag buckle, there is also the inclusion of large carabiners one on either cheek... In regards to price, I think all things considered for the materials used, and the time to assemble, this mask is actually probably very reasonably priced at around $70 dollars. One of the only stylistic choices I really don't like on it is the little chrome bits on the bottom, those just look cheap and pointless. The phone app is mostly easy to use, but if you have issues connecting, maybe try cycling bluetooth and the display button on and off, also if after connected you are unable to send text to the screen with the little paper airplane looking button, turn off the display and reconnect.

Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by the LED Goth Helmet. I always wondered how the field of view would work with the LED placed as it appears in the picture...it's kind of an illusion. The LED sits just above the eye level...so it doesn't interfere with your vision. The helmet comes with a link to download an app, and the app works great. You can set whatever text you want, and create an animation playlist, and it has some limited ability to draw your own shapes. The custom shape isn't that great honestly, but everything else about this helmet renders it pretty moot.I really like my helmet, and if you like futuristic cosplay, you might appreciate this too.
