I'm a musician that's had carpal tunnel surgery. It helps with rehab. Get your dexterity back. It is an awesome little tool plus very addictive

I'm not sure what to think of this item as a hand exerciser. A friend of mine saw me using it thought it was one of those hand fidget toy. The plastic construction made it difficult to maneuver the shape at times. I have not seen any benefit yet.

Just keep riling it with one hand only, alternate between the red and black ring on the outer edges. So easy to use once you figure it out. There’s a YouTube video that explains it. My fingers get so tired after using it and I started noticing a difference in my precision when handling other items in my hand. Great product!

This is a great little gadget. I've had it about a week now and I love it. It does take a little while to get the hang of it but you just have to be patient and keep at it till it works for you. It was not easy at first to get my fingers to manipulate it, but, over time I got the hang of it and it works like a charm now. I don't think better directions are necessary, just patience. This thing is worth every penny.

It's smaller than I expected, and smaller than my fingers would prefer, but as soon as I started using it, I realized that the small size makes it more useful for fine finger control, so I have to rate it pretty high. It will definitely help finger/string dexterity.

I have at least a dozen fidget toys and this is one of my favorites, by far. The way that the colors go from black to red as you fidget with it is kind of mesmerizing, and I love that it's small and easy to pocket. It feels very sturdy, sturdier than some of my other fidget toys, and I know that I can easily carry it around with me and it won't get broken. I could see how if you have really big hands, it might be a little small for you, but have hands that are bigger than average, and I find this comfortable to use.

I don't usually post reviews, but reading some other reviews I realized that most people who complain about it not being useful, or "only works your thumbs" are not using it correctly. The reason is the instructions are lacking. The right way to use this tool is to hold it in one hand and try to turn it both ways (inside-out and outside-in), alternating the 2 ways. Again, the trick is to use ONLY ONE HAND. I usually do a couple minutes one way, then the other way, then switch hands. When first starting using this it might seem a bit difficult until you get the hang of it, but once you start a regular routine you will feel all your fingers and palm getting a workout after longer sessions (over 30mins).I just bought a second unit to keep at my office to use during virtual meetings.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this little tool, but I used it the last couple of evenings while watching TV with the fam. Like the other reviewers, it took me a couple of hours to get the hang of how the segments fold into each other. For some reason I also want it to be a smooth, repetitive motion, but it's not quite that. Given the fact that it's meant to promote dexterity this makes sense. Maybe it takes a couple of hours to learn but a longer time to master. I had a relatively good practice session on guitar right after a session with the FiddlLink. Cord shapes were coming a bit easier and smoother. It's just one data point, but it's promising enough that I'm going to give it a shot. My daughter also plays guitar so we're going to leave this on the side table and use it during our down time. I have no experience with other dexterity or strength exercisers designed to improve playing, but I think this is easily worth four stars. I'll reserve the last star and update later when I've had more time to evaluate long-term results.
