Way too restrictive. It’s not the 90 degree elbow that’s the problem, it’s the diameter of the return. Why not just make it the same diameter of a normal eye?

Creates a nice whirlpool effect in our 18' round that circles up all the debris into the center for easy cleaning. Its small but mighty.

Product page stated that it "fits most sizes" but did not include actual measurements when I ordered it. It does not fit my size, and there was no way to know for sure, without ordering and trying it out. Great concept, but also docked review for the "value for the money". Seems only 2 manufacturers out there make such a nozzle redirector, and both are charging the HIGH price of $15 for each. Just feels like price milking people with a pool. Price milking products should at least start with an "i", like "iDirectional Pool Skimmer Jet Return Nozzle"! To be fair, I'd be much happier at a $10 price point, and variety in sizes so I could actually use one. (In my pool jet, it was smaller than the entire port, so didn't even touch the side walls of the pipe; would just launch out into the pool if I let it go.) The concept for the product is fantastic, and unbelievable that there are not more makers of these out there.

This was installed at the time of a brand new pool installation. The part fit fine into the existing return eyeball socket, using the existing nut, (which is standard for all eyeball sizes) but it didn't tighten up properly. You need to really tighten the eyeball nut to get it to stay in one orientation. Even still, it's easy to move around. After a few days, we found the return jet on the bottom of the pool. It had pushed through the nut opening. The orifice size is questionably small and it made my pump run 4psi higher than with the original 3/4" eyeball orifice.
