This has been on my wish list for three years (YES, 3 YEARS!) and just received it as a gift from my husband. We were both appalled when we took it out of the box. It is cheap glass with cheap paint, and even the paint job doesn't make it look like a geode. The stand is flimsy, as others have said, and the item overall is very small compared to how it is staged to look in the listing photos. Don't waste your time or money on this. We are returning it for a refund.

I understand with natural stone you won’t get exactly what is pictured but I purchased the gray stone to match my office.. it is not gray at all.. more like white and cream. Not worth the hassle of returning, but def disappointed.

The agate was the perfect addition to my shelf! I love the shape of the agate and its unique pattern – the color really pops off of the gold stand. It was also packaged well and arrived safely!
