Not really a cake topper, more of a toy that can be repurposed as a cake topper. Mine had great volume and no issues with the sound quality. My 4 year old loved it.

I was frustrated because the item arrived late - almost too late. However, that isn’t the fault of the seller. This item is awesome. This cake topper was not on the cake for long as everyone was using it as a mask and as it was doing the Darth Vader Breathing, they were speaking in their best Vader voices. It’s been a few days since the party and my grandson is still playing with it. Awesome topper. I love the animated sound.

I love this mini version of darth vader. I was surprised to find out it even made the breathing noises! It has a clip in the back to put on a belt loop. I don’t think it was made initially for a cake topper but hey it works! And it is good quality so it can be used and played with afterwards.

This was a really cool cake topper! We used buttercream to prop up the back so we could have the sound on while we sang happy birthday. Great topper for a small-medium cake, the sound worked great and was the perfect touch to my son’s Star Wars birthday cake.

Perfect cake topper. I bought the light up light saber chop sticks on Amazon and made a homemade cake and wrote Hapyy Sith Birthday for my son's 6th Birthday. Was so cute.Also someone said it stopped working, it only plays for a minute when switched to on. Switch it to off and back on and it will work. I prefer it that way so it doesnt run out the battery.Also has a clip on the back so you could clip it to like a belt or something.

I bought this to use as a cake topper for a small 9" round birthday cake. It fit perfectly in the center of the cake. The sound was great. You can hear it very clearly. The only negative comment I had was that if I wanted it to make the Darth Vader sound again, I had to pick it up off the cake and turn it off and back on. I wish it would play the sound with just a tap or sound activated. Other than it, it makes a really awesome cake topper.

We saw this for a cake you can order in the store… But as cakes are now $26+, I usually make my own cake. And, that is really the best.I was so glad that this cake topper was online! Super Fat Shipping too!It's great & my son loved it! It sounds like Darth Vader Breathing! Soooo Cool!The Only Con would be that once you hit the switch on the back & place him on cake (in plastic piece), he only breathes a short amount of time. He stops & you have to do it again. So, the best thing is to have it already & before placing in front of birthday person switch it on. I think also if you did not click button off, it might not work next time… No Big Deal.It worked & he LOVED IT!

This was really cute and my son loved it, but keep in mind the size; it clearly states the measurements in the description. For us it was perfect since I was making a double layer 1/4 sheet cake. It would certainly work on a larger cake, but would probably not be enough by itself. I found it nearly impossible to find Darth Vader cake toppers so this was god send for the mom of a BIG Vader fan.I'm giving this four stars because of the fact that the button to turn on the breath sounds is on the back, and the sounds only last for about thirty seconds without turning it back on. This means that you have to lift it off of the cake to turn it on and that you can't do so before presenting the cake because the sounds will be drowned out by "Happy Birthday". I kept the sound a secret from my son until after the song, and while I got icing all over my fingers, my son was thrilled.I don't know that it truly qualifies as a cake topper. It has a slide on type of clip on the back (like to go on a pocket or t-shirt) and it won't do anything but lie flat, but this was fine for our purposes. Cleaned up great: I did not immerse it in water but did use a very soapy paper towel to clean it and a toothpick to get icing out of the screw holes. The sound still works and my son wears it on his shirt when playing. My son says he wants to use it as a Christmas tree ornament.got it on Amazon for nearly half the price of our local box store (Thanks, Amazon :) )
