Bear in mind, this is my first actual RC toy after being alive for 50+ years. That said, this was fairly fun and impressive. You get a display stand, replacement blade, 2 nose guards, and a tool set. You also get a specific type battery charger. The adapter connects via USB A but has some particular regulating unit that likely controls how much power the battery receives. It stead lights green when fully charge. The remote takes 4 AA batteries. Now, I had a heck of a time pairing the boat and the remote. WHY? Well, I contacted DeeRC and found out it needs to be paired in water! This detail wasn't really stated in the manual and I thought I received a bad unit. Welp, got everything paired and off I went. Tested in a fairly disgusting body of water that gets heavily visited by some geese. The shoreline had some weeds/algae that binded up the prop. I had to remove that mess then tossed the boat beyond the weeds. Then I had some fun. It was fantastic. As for the construction of the boat itself, I would say it's quite fine. The paint and detailing are very crisp and clean, no rush jobs here. One wonders what a novice needs once the battery drains, I didn't want to test those limits. Controls were quite effective I would say, no lag that I could perceive. Very responsive. Great fun.

This RC boat is super fun. It’s very fast, turns on a dime, and the remote is responsive and easy to use. It comes with two interchangeable nose bumpers, which is great while you’re still learning to steer (and crashing into things). I really wish it came with a second battery at this price point—run time is limited, and you’ll definitely want more.Now, for the major concern: I had a couple of connection issues early on. One required wading into a lake filled with goose poop. The other nearly required a swim. But after mashing buttons on the remote for a few minutes, the boat reconnected—and since then, it’s worked flawlessly. Still, it's something to be aware of: a boat this fast can be in the middle of a large lake pretty quick. That said, once whatever the issue was resolved itself, it’s been nothing but fun. Would definitely recommend—but maybe pack a swim suit, some rubber boots (and perhaps not choose a heavily populated goose filled lake for the maiden voyage).Would have 5 stars easily, but the connection issue was very scary.

VERY misleading right out the gate. They claim it includes a 3S cell 2500 milliamp battery rated at 30C, but it is not. What you actually get is a basic lithium ion pack that does not come close to that discharge rate, which kills the performance they promise. They mention 34 miles per hour, but their own photos show 40 MPH plus. In reality, you will be lucky to hit 20 MPH unless you swap in a real lithium polymer pack.The motor and water cooling setup are decent, but you are stuck upgrading just to get what they advertised. Only one battery comes in the box while hiding behind words such as 3S and 30C but in reality, you're getting probably 5C considering it's lithium ion at a 30C price...Not saying the boat is total junk, in fact it's very well designed, well built and just a beautiful work of art to a small degree. But the shady marketing ruins it. You are forced to spend extra just to make it perform the way it was supposed to right out of the box. That is the part that really makes me question DEERC and their commitment they promise to uphold to the customers by claiming they're products are top quality at fair market prices as in reality, I've been seeing them slip for a while now so I hope they correct their misleading marketing tactics, penny pinching shortcuts and return to being an honest and trusted brand.

Couldn't get it to run called support at deerc fixed the problem quick and easy runs great will definitely buy again
