Ordered 2. Both remotes did not work at all. Tried many aaa batteries…… remotes will not power at all……so zero fun and went in trash!!!DO NOT BUY THESE EVER!!

I bought this for my ADHD husband to use in the hot tub because he can’t sit still long enough to enjoy the tub and needed a water toy 😆 Takes about an hour to charge and you get about 10-15 minutes of play time with one charge. Husband thoroughly enjoyed zooming it around the hot tub, and loved that it could go fast or paddle itself around slowly, and the lights were fun at night. It has a neat sensor so that it only turns on when placed in the water, but alas, it’s now malfunctioning. Plugged it in to charge tonight and the kayak is blinking and paddling on the counter. Put it in the water and it no longer works. Not sure what happened, maybe it’s not very water tight and it short circuited or something. Hubby really enjoyed it for the 2 & 1/2 weeks he had it though!

Impressive & fun. Moves pretty good in the pool. Perfect size. Not too sure a lake would be a good choice? The features of either paddle movement or just motors or BOTH is pretty cool. Ran for about 12 -15minutes before flashing light for low battery. Light feature ( also lights at motors when using paddle ) is a nice feature. Reverse, unlike some small rc boats, worked great. Comes with extra paddle & two spare props. Easy to operate and really fun. $14 Price at my purchase was a great deal. Nice job DEERC.

We love having fun with our kayaks when grandkids and friends come over. However, the last time we used them, 2 out of the 4 would only go backwards! I tried changing the batteries, but that didn't work. Can anyone tell me if they've had the same experience and how to fix it?

Edit: good customer service. They sent a replacement. The second one charged. We have only used it twice so hoping it will last a bit longer.This was a cute toy but after the battery ran down, which it did quickly, we could not get it to charge again.
