I received a unit that doesn't work - the burner keeps losing power, it's like you keep unplugging it from power and as I'm printing the return label it says if you used anything you will not be refunded the item's worth which is a pure scam.... how would i have known the burner is bad without plugging it in? SIGH this was almost $150....... I hope the owner is scammed for $150 a day, everyday until the end of their life.

Way overpriced. Buy a regular wood burner for $20 and separate tips you want to use. 90% of the tips in this kit are worthless.

A heat control wood have been nice didn’t catch it at purchase, so I purchased another temperature controlled wood burner for more accuracy but def works

Man do I love this kit the only thing I have against it I wish I'd have looked at OTs website so I could have bought the bigger kit. But on with the review, nothing is safe after I got confidence with it. I've done my phone case, some old grips I had laying around. The entire test strip they give you with the kit, magazines and now I'm eyeballing my pistol.I will say though when you first start off doing this practice on things you won't be afraid to ruin. Not saying you will but don't go melting holes in your 600 dollar gun the first time you pick this up. And not all plastic/ polymers melt the same, I am not a fan of the test strip it doesn't react the same as other materials.There were some tips that I thought I didn't like because they felt slippery on the test peice. Then one day a pmag started looking funny so I snatched it up and used the one tip I didnt like. It is now one of my favorites to use, it is tacky, aggressive and you don't slip off like the test strip.
