Theses are strong laces that were perfect for my Moxi lollys. If you wrap your laces around the boot after lacing, I would suggest getting the size above 96.

Derby Laces are the cream of the crop!! I need waxed laces in derby and these are the only ones strong enough to withstand the abuse I put them through. I have a wide foot and with these laces, I can leave the ball of my foot loose while cinching them tight around my ankle. Everything stays put the entire time they are on my feet and they never come unlaced. People who are used to waxed laces might expect them to feel like a candle, but these ones don't. I don't know how they do it, but these laces do their job well without feeling gross and flakey. My 10 year-old wears them in her derby skates and never has an issue with them coming untied. I can't wait for them to expand their sizes so my kids can use them in their basketball shoes and baseball/softball cleats!Nice job, Derby Laces!! Quality does count!

We get waxed laces so our 9-year old can tie his hockey skates on his own. These don't fit the bill. They aren't as waxy as the others he used to have and he can't get them tight enough. If there is any wax on these, it's minimal.
