I didn't realize that this item was so small. My hand is as long as the length and the width equal to my knuckles.

Smaller than expected, if you're thinking you can fit a classic composition notebook in the back slot you're wrong. But it's good for minor art or makeup supplies.

Solid plastic. Drawers work well. Light weight but fine. Excellent for desk top organization or next to anything as a catch all that requires minor organization. Put one next to the stereo cabinet to house misc supplies that easy access is required. Which it came in black however this color light blueish might both show dust as much. Recommend this organizer for my application.
