I like this arm guard. I would give it a 5 if it lasted longer. It’s super comfortable and i never feel the slap from my bow anymore with it on. The only thing I don’t like is the logo on the very front saying “made in china.” I’ve barely had it for two months and it’s already wearing out. There’s an entire hole through the first layer of the leather as you can see in my picture. This is what’s confusing because it seems like it’s nice leather but then how does leather wear out in less than two months? I shoot a 50 pound samick sage galaxy recurve bow almost every day from 25-30 yards. Lately i shoot at least 100-150 arrows a day sometimes getting to 200.

For the price a great protector. Be careful of the brass pins that the elastic stretches over to fasten to your arms. Those pins are actually screw caps and can come off and get lost. I used Loctite to secure mine.

Purchased for my 9 year old son for Christmas. After putting it on for the first time, a rivet came right out and was too bent to put back in. Fortunately my mother does some leather work, and has an assortment of rivets. For the average person, this would have been a return and a frustration. Being winter, he hasn't used it much, so hopefully no more rivets will break.
