What a neat add-on for my Mavic 2 Pro drone. Fit just fine as the directions stated. The directions themselves are a little tiny to read. Easy to set up the button in the app to configure the drop hook function. It would be nice to have a video that folks to just watch depending on the model of their drone to make for a quicker setup process. A neat little device. I even just saw in the news someone used something like this to send a life preserver to someone in distress at a beach which saved their life! Great thing to keep in mind for situations like that if you have your drone handy.

So, here is what you need to know.1. Using this on your sub 250 gram drone will put it over the weight limit of 250 grams, so at this point you will need to register your drone. I tested this indoors so as not to involve FAA regulated airspace.2. The instructions are written in a small font so the difficult portion was just being able to read them.3. You will need to configure a button on your remote to activate the release.4. The design of the device is a motorized hook that rotates. This includes a button on the side that is used to get the hook rotated to the correct position, I found this a little tricky to stop rotating at the right position.5. When you hang something from the hook for dropping, you will need to make sure you have 2-3' of slack to avoid getting the line tangled in the props. The landing gear extenders are necessary and give it a nice lift.

Super simple but ingenious design for a drop module that works well and is easy to use. Looks like the main structure of this is 3D printed but it’s a nice print and I have no problem with that. It fits well, seems durable and is super easy to use. I love being able to have the option to carry and release things from my DJI Air2S.

Fantastic and one neat thing about this one I noticed is they’re made from some latest and greatest technology being that they were made by a 3D printer (im about postitive) which i thought was kinda cool and if so it made a quality feeling product as far as it’s density but deliberately not too dense for the strict weight limit but feels like a really durable product i wound up getting a Mini pro 4 model and so far found it to be reliable and well made

Needed a drop for the Mavic 2 this fits the requirements. Glad to have found this part for an old drone. Secure fit. This is for drops only. I have tried to think of a way to make this a lift and yet still be able to use it as a drop.
