My Siberian Husky recently had a lump removed from his hind leg and it's been a challenge to make sure he doesn't lick it constantly. These booties were exactly what I needed to give his wound time to heal. The large size fit him perfect (he's about 80lbs) and they were pretty easy to get on even over the wound. There is a little bit of room inside so the fabric doesn't put pressure or stick to the wound. Although, if the wound were higher on my dogs leg, then I might run into issues with the straps. In my case, I did have to wrap the lower strap higher than it's intended to be, but it still kept the bootie on his foot just fine. Like most dogs, it took him a few minutes to get used to having something on his foot, but after about 5 minutes he didn't even know it was there. I think these would also work well if your dog has a bandage on that needs to be protected. Since we all know how long those tend to last before coming unraveled. Overall, these were perfect for our dog who has to be left alone for hours at a time.
