They fit in there tight like they are supposed to BUT these stupid little things are expensive for what they are. Dorman must me the only supplier distributing them? Fortunately they rarely need replacing unless someone abuses them when removing them.

Had to flap disc the outter edge to make it fit just don't try to force it without de burring . looks good

Does not fit Gen 2 Ram Trucks. (98 1500) Otherwise, seems like a solid product.

This bearing cap is sold as a replacement for MOPAR #3580894. It's not. The steel is too thick - not enough clearance between the thrust washer and the hub/rotor to fit (attempted to install over brand new bearings in a brand new, MOPAR hub/rotor). Other reviewers have stated the same but, of course, I read those AFTER clicking the "buy" button. After wasting an hour with this misfit on the grinder, I decided to take my 13-year-old daughter on an immersive, culture-infused field trip to our local "U-wrench-it" salvage yard. She immersed herself in the sights, sounds and smells while I pried the bearing cap off a (1990?) Chrysler 5th Avenue. I installed it as soon as we arrived home - fits like a glove.For whatever reason, every vendor I consulted - NAPA, Autozone and O'Reilly's and Amazon - lists this as a substitute for MOPAR 3580894 in their databases. The NAPA product is re-branded, but it's the same part with the same logo etched into the side (I went there in person today). As far as I can tell, NO ONE is making an aftermarket replacement for these caps. If your original (Chrysler) cap is stamped "894," then you have two options: sell the vehicle or take a fun-filled field trip like we did!

I did like that it was very good quality. However, it did not fit my 1992 Chrysler LeBaron. It was much too loose.

Does the job! PERFECTLY, TOO! Like the OEM, but it is a mm farther from the brim of the outer bearing opening - it doesn't affect function, tho.
