The bolt for the ball joint broke off in the old knuckle, so it was easier to replace everything. The knuckle comes with a new bolt as well. When getting ready to change, you will also want to get a new wheel bearing, they tend to stick in the old knuckles, and fall apart when you remove them.

The knuckle is fine. But it does not come with the bolt that is CLEARLY shown in the picture.
