I thought these were a cool idea to hide the nail heads. You just leave to put the nail in on one side into your attachment backing then you just put the skirting on the front and Hammer it onto the spike that's sticking out. Solidly made works well

These are double sided nails that can join two pieces of wood fairly easily. The two nail heads are separated by a small flare out that is like a washer. This allows the provided tubes a place to rest when driving this in. Two tubes are provided. Slip the tube over one end of the nail until it hits the flare. Then simply hammer the nail in. The other end can simply be pounded directly in: you may want a rubber mallet for that. Overall these are as described and work well.
