This was a great purchase to slice cucumber and the blade is much sharper than I would have assumed. Great portable purchase.

A mandoline is a tool that will become your immediate go-to for slicing. It's just amazing how quickly and efficiently this tool will slice. This mandoline by DreamFarm, was designed in Australia, and it shows. It has been well thought out, with a blade that will recess perfectly for safety, a cover that will double as a guard when slicing, and feet lock open that hold it at exactly the correct angle. The feet close to store away, but the instructions to close them are difficult to see for some - pull them away from the body and they will unlock and store.The blade has three settings for cutting depth, and once you get started it will make a very quick job of the whole thing.There is also a plastic cover that is supposed to act as a shield when you get to the last little bit of the slicing. I found it a bit unwieldy, but be absolutely certain you use it as you get close to the blade. The blade is a razor and it will slice your hand as well as a potato, so take precautions.This is a well made, sturdy and very desirable kitchen tool and I recommend it.

I like the Dreamfarm Nocutu Handheld Safety Mandoline Slicer. It is easy to use and slices well. The blade is very sharp.The safety guard actually works well to keep your fingers safe but also doesn't disturb cutting. It feels comfortable even if it looks like it would be cumbersome.I love that it is possible to adjust for thickness of slices. All over this is a good tool that is easy to use and easy to clean. Works great!

This kitchen essential is a true game changer. I love how quickly AND safely it can thinly slice fruits and vegetables. The design is well thought-out and sturdily built. There are 3 thickness level options and the finger guard gives me the ultimate confidence that my hands will remain cut-free. Great product!

This isn’t as easy to use as I thought it’d be. Granted, I thought it’d be effortless, which it mostly is: it slices great, but the holder is kind of a pain to use. Still, I love that I’m not terrified of slicing myself inadvertently while washing this or just picking it up, since there’s a setting that places the blade flush with the ramp and then the holder is used to cover the whole thing. It’s also really nice to not have to drag out practically the equivalent of an entire appliance just to thinly, evenly, and easily slice things. I’m just careful when I get to the last inch or so of veg.
