To be honest I had no real practical application for this… My mavic is pretty much my go to for getting aerial shots but I always had this nagging feeling it could be doing more, ya know, like be my own personal flying errand boy. Then I stumbled across this mechanical claw grabber thing, and the part of my brain that never fully developed immediately went "Oh, we totally need that." Attaching it to my Mavic (I've got the Air 3S) was actually less fiddly than I expected. I haven't used it to say, airlift a stranded kitten from a tree yet though the thought has crossed my mind for peak internet stardom. But I have used it to deliver a cold one to my husband chilling in the hammock across the yard, which felt like living in the actual future. It's not going to be picking up bowling balls obviously and you definitely have to be smart about the weight, but for small, light items, it's surprisingly nifty and makes my drone feel less like just a flying camera and more like a useful little multi-tool. If you've got a compatible DJI drone and want to add a new layer of "hey, that's actually pretty cool" functionality for deliveries, maybe some light deliveries, or just messing around, this claw system is a ton of fun and genuinely works. My backyard snack delivery service is now officially operational.

Performs as advertised. I use it to pick up sticks out of my yard with a DJI Mavic. Great fun.
