I have a 2024 Z51 stingray coupe. I had previously been using painters tape or foam blocks to help keep out water during car washes, which were not 100% effective. These inserts fit into the existing channels on either side of the engine vents. I was able to set them on top of the vents, then press them into the channels. The piece for the bottom of the glass works well. It just slides into place.HOWEVER, the material of these are more rigid than I would like, and worry that over time the of pressing them into the channel could damage the paint. My husband worked in the automotive industry for 20+ years and although the idea behind these is great, they seem more gimmicky than anything. These will become an issue over repeated use. I would rather wipe my engine bay with a towel than worry about the paint on an almost $100K vehicle.

Well just washed my car and found that these don't seal very well and water still got in. They do keep most out but still had to clean the engine compartment. If they sealed better they would get a five star. So think before you spend 100.

Overall, these help keep most of the water out of the engine bay on my c8. I have been meaning to get something like this for a while. At the end of the season I should be able to spend less time cleaning out the engine bay. Very easy to install. You just pop them into place and you're ready to go for a wash. They fit the vents well. These things always seem a little expensive to me for some molded plastic, but they seem to be on par with the price of other brands. Work well enough to recommend.

These vent covers fit well on the C8 Corvette. They cover the vents and work well enough to keep most of the water out of the engine bay. They also look very unassuming, so you might forget they're even on the car. Easy to install, just slap them on the vents. A bit pricey, but they do the job.
