Used this to add a couple of USB 3.0 ports to a custom power box, and it's doing the job well. The fit and finish are solid, and the aluminum housing feels a lot more durable than some of the plastic ones I’ve used before.Both ports are fully functional for data and charging. I’ve tested file transfers and powering a small USB fan at the same time with no issues. Everything stays stable and doesn’t wiggle in the mount.Installation was easy. Just dropped it into the panel and tightened the included screws. No soldering or fiddling needed.Only downside is that I wish it were less expensive and came with instructions for pre-drilling holes as well as a template
