I've been using Herco Vintage '66s since I have started playing and they're my favourite picks. I just love the shape, grip and the warm tone that they provide. However, sometimes I want more clarity and celluloid/Ultex was my go to for that purpose. I have always missed the Herco's grip though, so when Dunlop launched those I was really excited. I really don't know what to think about those customs though, they look good, they feel good but they don't sound at all like Ultex. Yes, they are brighter than standard nylon Vintage '66s, but much much duller sounding than Ultex or even the classic nylon. Definitely not what I was expecting.
