Install A New Battery:
1,Disconnect the connection between the old battery and the motherboard to avoid unnecessary damage caused by disassembling the battery. Then unscrew the old battery screws one by one and carefully save each.
2, Remove the old battery, carefully install the new battery on the battery case, and connect the wiring of the new battery.

My surface battery life has been on the decline. I decided to replace it. This battery can charged and ready to go. After installing and performing a few tests it looked like everyone was working. Unfortunately it's only after I glued back the screen that I realized that the battery was not charging. I checked all the drivers, even performed a full reset, nothing worked. Eventually I had to reopen the surface and put back the old battery. This was a waste of money and time.10/3/2024 Update: I bought another battery from a different vendor. It worked like a charm. Definitely something wrong with this brand.
