Is not compatible with LRMXS2806D. The evaporative fan motor looks nothing like this.

Our refrigerator after a couple years popped up a code FF E. So we took the necessary steps, took it apart and defrosted the freezer and refrigerator motor. After doing that, there was a squeaking noise from one of the bearings. So we ordered this replacement motor. It was a little bigger than the original one but the housing fit perfect. Easy install didn't have to call a technician. Put it all back together and it's been working perfect for the last month and a half. Very happy that I was able to replace it on my own without having to call out a technician or order the whole assembly with the plastic and two motors, that was four times the price.

Had a FF E code on LG French door refrigerator. 2 1/2 years old. Indicating freezer fan. Old refrigerators had thermostat for each fan. Learned how this one works. The cooling coils cool the freezer compartment. The main board monitors a temperature sensor in the freezer and turns on the freezer fan to send cold air into refrigerator compartment. Temperature sensor in refrigerator compartment sends signal to main board to control freezer fan.Used UTube videos to replace motor. Pretty straightforward and simple enough for a 76 year old. Videos didn’t show exact model but close enough.Did call a appliance repair guy and learned that they don’t come prepared to fix anything. He looked, asked questions and suggested part after a private research in his vehicle that it would take a week to 10 days to get. Another visit to replace would run about $300 and maybe still need a new main board which is not available. I gave him his $98 service call price. Ordered replacement motor from Amazon, received in 2 days. Installed in about 30 minutes and after a few hours, everything good.
