Replacement board failed in less than three months. It was professionally installed and all systems checked. My water heater does not get abused at all, and still failed.

Worked in my Eco 18. Easy installation, I did it myself. Watched the video on the Smartparts website on installation. Home warranty wouldn't cover the repair and quoted me $1500 for a new one. Saved a ton of money doing this. Got hot water again! Yay!

Did not work at first because pin configuration is different from OEM board. Bottom line, read instructions. Worked well after correctly connecting sensor wires.

When replacing the flow sensor didn't fix the problem, the next step was to replace the control panel. Bingo, our ECO27 is now fully operational!

The item is the correct one and works like it should. Quick & easy to install. Gave it a 4 because the package was supposed to be left at the back door, and was at the front door where all the porch pirates could see it. There needs to be another section to leave a review on the delivery person.

This board works for the 36k model as well as the others. Bought one, swapped it in (10 minutes and a Philips screw driver) and nothing. Called ecosmart and trouble shot, ecosmart informed me that I received a bad board "possibly someone's return that accidently got sent back out" and offered to send me a replacement in case the Amazon replacement was also bad. That will be two weeks out as ecosmarts warehouse is currently shut down, so, swapped Amazon's replacement in and the heater fired right up. I gave 5 stars for the working product, however, I would only give 3 for Amazon's service. The first board, like many of the other reviews, came with bent pins and a burnt smell.
