By “light duty” I mean – aside from indoor room protection - storing a guitar on a soft car seat or walking with it yourself. I would not trust the minimal padding to any rougher handling such as a trunk or van or risk a hard bang or drop on the subway (and don’t even think about flying). There’s plenty of room inside most solid body guitars (not for basses except possibly short scale like an EB-O). The images show a Les Paul but you can fit a Strat or Tele (not sure about a Flying V or Thunberbird).Whatever guitar you store be sure to clip excess string lengths short or wrap them well – a G string pierced right through the bag and stuck me while I was zipping it.There are the obligatory compartments for cords, strings, etc. and the zippers all operate smoothly.

This electric guitar case is nice and handy to take your guitar on the road. This is specifically for a electric guitar, it will not fit a regular one. And if you just want to keep in it the case so it does not get dirty as well, this would be perfect for. I like that it has pockets to keep extra strings and whatever else you need. Also the neck is supported with its own velcro strap so it does not move around a lot. Overall , I think this is a good case for your electric guitar and I would recommend to anyone looking for one.

Look, it's a $20 case. So is it a rough-and-tumble gig bag? No. But...if your a weekend type player or need a way to safely and easily bring your axe to practice or church services? This just might fit the bill. While the padding is thin, a several things I really do like are 1) the actually decent zippers 2) the five zippered pockets 3) the backpack style shoulder straps (I could even sling it over one shoulder and have it stay put) and 4) about four different ways to pick this up and carry it. Oh, and there's even a decent "foot" on the bottom of the bag (if you're holding it with the headstock up).Is it perfect? No. A good deal for the price? Yes. Just use it accordingly. It'll make it easier to carry and amp and open doors with two hands free, and even goce you some protection from precipitation.Just don't use it if you're going on tour. But for many of us, it'll do just fine for trips across town.Five stars for the price and what it is. Just don't assume it's something it is not.

If guitar bags were like jeans, this would be the loose fit jeans. Just about any guitar should fit in this bag. Don’t think it’s deep enough for an acoustic guitar. The outside is very durable. The padding is alright, but not shock proof. Do not let a baggage handler, or your groupie, carry this. There is not much padding to absorb setting down hard. But as a general gig bag, this would work fine. Plenty of room for accessories in the outer pockets.

We have/play a GUILD F-240E Acoustic-Electric Guitar, and since it didn’t come with a case, we decided to try the IBVIVIC Electric Guitar Bag. While we ordered both around the same time, we later realized that the case is not the correct size for our guitar. Be sure to check out the dimensionsThat said, the IBVIVIC case seems an excellent quality. The zippers are sturdy, the materials feel durable, and the design includes a comfortable handle and well-made shoulder straps, which we really liked.Unfortunately, our electric acoustic guitar is an F-Jumbo, and it simply doesn't fit in this case. This was an oversight on our part, as we didn’t verify the dimensions beforehand. While the case is great, it just doesn’t work for our needs. We’ll definitely be more mindful when selecting the right size next time, but we can still confidently say this is a well-made case—just be sure to check compatibility with your specific guitar model.Only four stars because we wish this case had some extra padding to protect the instrument... it feels a little thin.

I’m a performing guitar player, and I ordered this for a knock-around travel Strat I picked up that does not have a case. It’s exactly what I wanted. The fabric is durable, and it’s sized to handle a wide range of solid-body guitars. There is no padding, so it’s basically designed to keep the dust off and “pack-with-some-care” in the car. The pockets are handy, and the large one is big enough to hold a fold-up portable guitar stand. The straps are great. I feel like this is a perfect gig bag for the price.

Given the price, I would rate this a 4 out of 5. I only give it 4 because the images online suggest the material of the case is thicker than it actually is. The outer material is nice, but the case itself isn't much thicker than a gig bag you'd get with a beginner guitar kit. Overall though it fits all of my guitars fine, I have included three of them in pics to show the different body styles and sizes.I will say that it's definitely larger than any of them, and my Charvel San Dimas is about as large as you're gonna get in a strat style body and it kind of swims around in the bag, so it's not an exact fit by any means. I grabbed this bag because I don't have any cases for my guitars and wanted one in case I need to take one out of the house.I would caution though, this bag is not for gigging in any way, shape or form. It's only for gently walking the guitar to your car and transporting it safely.
