Took this out of the box plugged in a 4s lipo pack. Planetary gears are noisy but the thing cranks my 55cc with no problem.

Well...I bought this in 2023 and only just got around to using it recently. The reason I bought it was that it is advertised as powerful enough to crank engines up to 50cc. HA! It will not even turn over my Saito 125 4-stroke! I would have rated this starter lower, however, I DO like it for my small RC engines. It is light weight and easy to use with one hand one finger operation as a cordless starter, but I am very disappointed that it doesn't have the power advertized.

I bought it awhile back, I never tested it, and just took it to the field today. Dead... Nothing... But the problem is I can't return it. So I guess the lesson here is test your items when you first get them otherwise you may not be able to return them if you wait too long like me. Looks like it would be a good starter if it worked. I ordered a Sullivan.

The starter is very easy to handle and use on my 40 sized airplanes all the way up to my 180 sized airplanes.
