This is a very nice set of colorful and fun building blocks. I couldn’t find where the number of blocks is listed but it must be a lot. The box is heavy! The instructions in the box are for the elephant pictured on the box. Instructions for 10 other models can be downloaded from the internet. I think this will keep the kids busy for a long time!Recommended!

Well designed and constructed with several options to build differing designs.I love building things. When I was a kid my parents standard response was 'get her another set of lincoln logs' whenever friends and family asked what to get me for those gift giving occasions.Naturally, as I'm collecting toys to build up the kids' play section of the non-profit we run. I was ecstatic to find this set as one of the options for the Vine Voice products. One of our volunteers that cooks a couple of days per week, babysits two younger boys one day a week and they come along with her on Wednesdays. I'm looking forward to working on this set with the six year old this next week. I'll update with pics once I get them.

My grandson has pretty much every Lego building set they make, so I was looking for something different to keep his interest. These were perfect! They go together much like Legos, and although the instruction book has a bit of a different layout (according to him) he had no trouble following them. He quickly learned the difference and after a couple re-builds had the hang of the kit, which was perfect - I was wanting him to have a challenge, but not so much of one that he got frustrated. This set is going to get a lot of enjoyment at my house! I highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative for your little engineer.

My 5 yo granddaughter gives this educational toy 5 stars. She and I really enjoyed being able to create something from small parts that were easy to put together. The colors are bright and the pieces are sturdy. She was so happy to see results in a relatively short time. What is great about this set is that so many things can be created from the parts, but her favorite was the airplane that she called a jet. This set was used several times over a couple of months and the price point is right on!

This racing car set made a great gift for my 8-year-old nephew's birthday. I know these building block sets are made of bigger block pieces, but the builds are quite complex and challenging, especially if you are planning on using the set to make all 10 bonus builds. You can build a racing car, a ferris wheel, a robot, a hot rod, a sailboat, a helicopter and so much more. I love that this set encourages to use the same pieces in different ways and that you are not limited to just building one thing. The paper instructions that come with the kit are clear and easy to follow. You use the Engino website or app to get the instructions for the extra builds and the instructions were even better! You can rotate the pieces online, zoom in and out and more to help you get the build just right. The first thing you should do is separate out the pieces by connections so that you can quickly and easily find the piece(s) you are looking for. Then you follow it step-by-step.These building kits teach children so much while they are having fun. If you are looking for something fun and educational to give a child, especially during the summer or holiday season when they have extra time on their hands, these Engino building kits are top-notch and highly recommended. They are brightly colored, sturdy, easy to manipulate with little hands and offer so much versatility. The only thing limiting your builds is your imagination!

This airplane set is meant for age 3+ but I think that is a stretch. I would say 5+ with the help of an adult at least to start with. Many of the pieces are bigger and chunkier than my Engino sets for older kids, but the pieces in all the sets can be mixed and matched, including this set. That makes it a more affordable system for me.It is important to note in this set that they explain clearly that you should lay all the pieces out in groups before you start. I can attest to the fact that many pieces are similar but might have just one added prong. If you place the wrong piece in a spot not meant for it, you are going to have problems later in the build.I tried both versions of building the airplane: using the included paper instructions and then going to the Engino web site and using the online instructions. Both were good. The benefit of the online instructions is that on my iPad I could use my finger on the screen to turn pieces so I could see exactly how the pieces were connected. The 3-D is fantastic! On some of the longer pieces one side has a circle and the other side is more of an oval and it makes a difference in the connection phase. Both sets of instructions are pictures that are step by step.Honestly I am direction challenged and it took me quite a while to build this. I find the Engino products are amazing, but more challenging than the age description provided, and this airplane kit was no exception. I will be doing this with my 5 year old grandchild and he is used to following very detailed picture instructions . But because this is a whole different type of build than say the major kid building blocks, it takes a while to figure out how these go together. I absolutely love having my kiddos try different types of building toys and I am so glad that this set is compatible with the other ones I have for older kids. The colors are fantastic and the plastic pieces are sturdy and hard. They are also easy to disassemble and the pictures on the sturdy box are helpful. I am really glad to have this set on my toy shelf and would purchase this again.
