This makes keeping my espresso area in order so much easier and prevents me from having to rummage through my trash can when my reusable coffee filter comes out when knocking coffee out. The item is made of durable black plastic and has a removable bar that makes it easy to empty and clean.

For those current or prospective coffee enthusiasts, the spent coffee left in the portafilter can be as hard as a "puck" and difficult to remove without scratching the basket.Knock Box to the rescue!Essentially just a plastic box, it has a "rubber" bar across the top that allows a person to "smack" the portafilter against it, jarring loose the coffee puck. This one is particularly unpretentious, but highly useful. The bar lives in open grooves on the top of the box and is easily separated from the box for cleaning, etc. It works very well.

This espresso knock box is incredibly sturdy and well-designed, making it easy to dispose of used coffee grounds without any mess. The shock-absorbent construction and removable knock bar add to its durability and convenience. Plus, the non-slip base keeps it steady on any countertop. Whether you’re brewing at home or in the office, this accessory really elevates the espresso-making experience.

This is exactly what it looks like: a small container to dump your espresso pucks into. Normally, I would hit my portafilter on to the side of the trash can vigorously until the puck falls out. A lot of the times my portafilter basket would fall out with it and I end up having to fish it out of the trash can. This solves this first world problem perfectly. Additionally, if you have a re-usable puck screen it will serve the same purpose as above, which is another benefit. It's a niche item that you didn't know you needed

I love this thing! I should have gotten one of these years ago honestly. The puck just popped right out and stayed in one piece at the bottom. Much easier than using the side of the trash can. I started wanting one of these when I started using a filter on top of my pucks and it is a fantastic solution for getting your filter off and then knocking the puck. The packaging was also very nice. Normally I don't care about that sort of thing, but I was surprised by the quality and simplicity of the packaging. The bottom has some anti slip stuff and the bar has a silicone coating over a solid bar of I assume metal. Verry nice product that works perfect and looks nice.

This is the kind of knock box I would recommend for getting espresso pucks out. I have another one that I've tried which didn't work at all, and you'd knock the filter out of the handle without doing anything to remove the puck. The thick rubber on the bar is protective and heavy-duty, so it won't damage the filter even with a fair amount of force, but if you can knock hard enough, the puck will come out. It may take some practice to get it to where you're not spraying grounds around the counter, but I think that's on me, not the knock box. This box will fit probably 20-30 pucks before it's full, which is good enough for a day or two in our home with multiple espresso drinkers.

This small espresso knock box is great! The crossbar is slightly padded to cut down on the noise a little, and the box feels durable.
