I do like this and it works well. The magnet holds my ipad in place well and the battery life seems to be pretty good too.

The search for something took a long time for me to pick this one. Wanted it to be like an older one I have on an Ipad. This one was my overall choice from all others I looked at. Even Apple. It has a protection cover for my IPad Pro plus fit perfectly. Connected to Bluetooth with no problems. Like the touch pad makes it like a laptop. Came with a charging cable but lacks the power adapter. I’d recommend to give it a try. I’m really satisfied with the purchase.

I absolutely love this case for my 12.9 pro. Didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I do just surfing and scrolling. Awesome feature that it has a detachable case for just the iPad. Really comes in handy when your writing, drawing, or just do not want the keyboard in the way. Order it, you wont be disappointed!

Good solid keyboard, nicely balanced keys. Great feature is that you can use it on your lap and elevate the screen, unlike many keyboards. The closing flap also holds the pencil securely. No more fishing about in the bottom of your bag to find it.It is a little heavy and the track pad is not as deep as on a Mac but you would get used to this quickly.Definitely worth considering rather than the costly Apple keyboard.

It works as advertised and the keyboard and trackpad work really well. The only downside is that it’s quite heavy, perhaps due to the battery. In short, it’s a great product and the Seller is also great.

Great value, does what its supposed to.Points to consider:- It does add weight to the iPad, but that's a given. So, when I'm not using the keyboard, I just detach it and the weight is no longer a problem. This is a great aspect of this 2 piece case.- The iPad will wiggle - at some angles/orientations - more than others. But if you're just using the keyboard and have it placed on a flat surface, that isn't really an issue. If you're not on a flat surface, and are using a pen a long side it to annotate or sketch something, you may find the wiggle annoying.- It takes a second to connect - nothing too long - after it falls asleep. Its great for saving battery, and the battery on this thing is quite good in my experience. So if your use involves using the keyboard, then taking a small break from the keyboard (enough for the KB to fall asleep), and then using it again, the small duration it takes to reconnect could start to get annoying.- Other than that, it's a good kb, and great for the price. Would buy again

The keyboard works great. I don't have any problems with the iPad sticking to the other side of the case, but one small issue I have is that the case is pretty heavy and thick. The battery lasts a long time, which I like, but I'm having trouble changing the colors on the keyboard. Overall, the iPad case is good!

I wanted a keyboard case for the refurbished iPad Pro 6th generation that I just ordered. Usually I would get a Logitech model but there were no options I liked. I wanted a keyboard but also needed to be able to use the iPad in tablet mode (without keyboard) and this was advertised as a feature of the ESR case. Reviews were mostly good so I thought I would try it. Disappointed. I give it 3 stars because the keyboard and trackpad are good and the overall build quality is above average. But this thing is just too heavy. Massively heavy, weighing in at almost 2.5 lbs without the iPad! I know keyboard cases add mass and weight but this is ridiculous. Also, the protective sleeve for the iPad is thin and slippery, and I dislike the way the iPad wobbles during use. And there's something odd about the way the iPad responds to this Bluetooth-connected keyboard, with a weird, quirky hesitation. Anyway, I would recommend looking other options.

The summary of this review can be found in the title: this is a great keyboard case! Let me walk you through my experience:I’d been in the market for a keyboard case, but wasn’t crazy about the price of the Apple Magic Keyboard Folio Case thingy. My son has one for his 12.9” iPad Pro, but I was willing to do without due to the cost. Having purchased (and been very happy with) ESR gear in the past, I saw an advertisement for this and wanted to give it a try. At best, I’d have found an amazing product; at worse, I could find someone to pawn it off on…er, purchase it from me. So the order was placed, and it arrived quickly.Upon opening the Amazon packaging, I found a very professional-looking ESR packaging which was easy to open and had clear instructions on how to do a quick set-up, along with a QR code for further information and such (see photos above). The case was quite sturdy and well-built upon first glance. The iPad device-specific portion of the “case” felt nice, though it’s more or less just the means to holding the iPad to the keyboard. If you’re looking for a more protective case, sans keyboard, I encourage you to check out some of ESR’s other fantastic products.Anyway, my iPad went very easily into the shell. There are kind of three ways you can use this: portrait-style, landscape style 1 (where you just open the device and go), or landscape style 2 (where you lift or slide the iPad up an inch or two to allow for a little different placement and angle; I prefer this way myself). The magnets hold the iPad incredibly well, and the hinge of the keyboard is very sturdy. Do be aware that this is a chonky piece of kit, so it’s going to add some bulk as well as considerable heft. In fact, the keyboard and iPad together weigh probably as much or just a smidgen more than my MacBook Air M2, and is thicker. However, if you’re looking to consolidate or just want to have laptop-type features with your iPad, then these things can be easily handled. But allow me to say that the MAGNETIC FLAP that helps hold the case closed (doesn’t really need it but it’s a great touch!) also holds the Apple Pencil securely! This feature alone was enough to tempt my son to ditch his Apple Magic Keyboard Case because his pencil is constantly falling off due to not having a secure way to hold it! Almost worth the price itself just for that!Connection is via Bluetooth and was very fast in connecting to the iPad. The battery came in at 96% straight out of the box. The USB-C charging port is on the side of the keyboard. Something to note is that the keyboard does not charge the iPad while in the case. But as a quick test, I used a charging cable to connect the iPad to the keyboard port and found that the iPad began charging the keyboard. So, should you ever run low on juice in your keyboard, you can charge it from the iPad. Still, I suppose if you have a cable to charge the iPad, you kind of have a cable to charge the keyboard directly. At any rate, I enjoyed that little discovery. On the the keyboard itself. It feels great. The keys are really responsive and have just the right amount of that satisfying resistance. It’s quiet when you use it, perhaps just ever-so-slightly louder than my MacBook Air keyboard, but with comparable feel. The backlights for the keyboard are a very nice touch. Light blue, dark blue, green, purple, magenta, red, orange, and white seem to round out the available colors, and there are four levels of brightness (including off entirely). All this can be changed by the touch of two buttons on the function row at the top of the keyboard.I wanted to specifically mention the touchpad. Due to the size of the keyboard itself being pretty much determined by the size of the iPad, the touchpad is somewhat small. I also find that it’s INCREDIBLY sensitive. Pressing the touchpad for mouse clicks makes a nice sound, but it’s very easy to push it more than you wanted or accidentally. Using the iPadOS multi-touch gestures is a little harder at times due to these issues (sensitivity and size) but it is responsive to be sure. It is possible to go into the iPad settings and adjust the scroll speed and such, but I use an external Apple Magic Trackpad which is much more suited to my workflows. Still, if you don’t want to carry another device, the touchpad on the keyboard will more than meet your needs. And as you can see in one of the accompanying photos, I used the keyboard to write my initial thoughts and it worked great. In the week I’ve had the device I’ve been very well pleased, and have written this review using the ESR keyboard.A Quick Summary:Pros - Feel/look, sturdiness, convenience, responsiveness, secure holding of Apple Pencil when it’s not being used, battery life, ease of setup and use, and GREAT PRICE!Cons - A bit heavy, sensitivity and size of the trackpad (but you quickly get accustomed to these things so they’re not problems at all).So basically, if you want a great keyboard that is great on battery, relatively inexpensive when compared to Apple-branded keyboards, sturdy, and gives your iPad the features of a laptop, do not sleep on this ESR Keyboard Case. You’ll be really glad you got it! And I will most definitely be recommending this to my friends and will be very willing to purchase more products from the ESR family!

Had gotten this case to replace my current broken one. Was looking for a sturdy case that also could support a keyboard. This one is great because you can remove the thing case from the keyboard for more convenience. Battery life is pretty good for the keyboard and uses the same charger. I wish the angle of the display would bend a little more in each direction. Also, the case is a bit on the heavy side. But happy with my purchase so far.

I have been looking for an iPad cover with a keyboard that can hold the iPad vertically. Apple pencil can be attached to the iPad with the soft case. There is no bulky ditch on the case for the Apple Pencil, and the flap covers and holds the Apple Pencil securely while carrying. This Bluetooth keyboard is my sixth, and it is the best so far, except for Apple’s genuine ones. Bluetooth connectivity is good. I don’t need to push the Bluetooth button to reconnect unless restarting my iPad. The feel of typing keys is excellent. It’s a little heavier than I expected, but sturdy construction with extra weight.

I am currently writing this review on said keyboard and folio. The pluses - The touch typing is very comfortable and very little errors are made why typing on it. Also, having a top row of function keys for specific settings is a great idea keeping the screen clean of finger prints. There is a supplied case to protect your iPad Pro which I find is a better option then having just the naked iPad Pro attached to the official Apple version and several of its competitors. Also being able to have the iPad attach a little higher also helps with erogonmics while you are typing. The touch quality of the materials is very good and also having the backlite keyboard helps when working in the dark. Having the magnetic flap as part of the case is another apple pencil saver as I have lost so many to a mild tap while holding the iPad with it attached and charging. The minuses - The main hinge for the cover has a little bit of play which I don’t remember feeling in the Magic Keyboard. Because this comes with a shell for the iPad, I find that it holds onto heat mildly more while you are charging the iPad. One other heads up, if you like to have your apple Pencil covered in a silicon sleeve (like and traditional HB looking pencil skin also found on Amazon,) there will be issues having it charge through the frame of the shell supplied for your iPad. My work around was to cut out the case where the pencil resides for charging. When the keyboard goes to sleep and you try activating it to start typing, it takes a moment to reconnect. I don’t find this as a big issues but its there and you need to be accept it.For the relatively lower cost and the very minor niggles, I would purchase this again in a heart. That being said, I feel this will hold up well with my current iPad Pro and wont be needing a replacement anytime soon.
