I’ve had mine for over a year now. We have an add on room and no air goes to it and there was no windows in the room to put a window unit. Takes like 30 minutes to an hour to get it descently cool. Still works great!!!! I would buy again! The sound of the water running through it is sooooo relaxing!!!!!

This is an excellent item. Living in a semi dry climate, the evaporator air cooler works well, bringing in a slightly moist, cool air stream. It is sufficient enough to keep air conditioning off until it is absolutely necessary.On the patio, it serves to provide coolness while sitting or tidying up.During the night I can use this to provide slightly moist , cool air.

Not sure what climate this thing is “supposed” to work in, but definitely not hot ones. Did not cool at all, I guess it was wishful thinking a fan blowing air through some ice water would really work lol.

It does make cold air. The manual is terrible and the remote is not the one pictured so I have no idea how to change the battery. Or is light and small and for times when the AC breaks in my building/ it helps you survive.

This is not worth it. Doesn’t blow cold even with a full tank of ice. Waste your money elsewhere

This is not worth $50! I paid. $130 for garbage! What a joke! Does not cool even with the ice packs! It’s so much smaller than advertised also! False advertising and wayyyy over priced! What a joke!
