You’re going to be sleep deprived and you don’t always know where your phone is. I LOVED traveling in this book. It was very helpful for my husband and I to keep track of what the other had done got the baby and have us clear data for those first newborn doctor’s visits.

We used this journal with our first daughter and are using it again with our second. I firmly believe it’s been the key to keeping the days on track. I know there are apps that allow you to track these things but we’ve personally much preferred to have a compact, physical journal to easily share.A big takeaway I got from the book “Extreme Productivity” talked about how beneficial it is to write things down - getting info out of your head and onto paper to free up space and mental energy. I think this applies to parenting too, especially in this season with so much going on between feedings, diapers, sleep, etc. When you can jot these things down to keep track, it frees up your mind from having to remember exactly when baby ate, when their last diaper change was, what day you last bathed them, how long they’ve been awake or asleep, what time they woke up that day, etc. I love that it allows you to easily identify patterns over time, and has extra space for other notes too.I love it so much and recommend it to all my new mom friends! I also like that the grids are a little more roomy in this newer version, we don’t have to write as tiny!

So great I ordered a second one to last for my baby's first year. Used the note section heavily when in the nicu when provided with daily updates.

The format is great, I do how ever the book was slightly bigger so i didn’t have to write so small, And I know they’re trying to make it look nice, but I would love if this was basically a Rite in the Rain style book (waterproof paper, thick covers). Still a easy yes for Me. Wish I had it for my first kid.

My husband and I love it. My baby girl turned two weeks today! On our last visit the doctor told us to stop tracking her bowel movements but we still do. It works great for us as a reminder of her feelings, how many times we change her and we also use it to put her firsts!

I guess you could use an app and it would be maybe more convenient but I love using this notebook. You can track everything very easily and all you need to know is on one page (one day = one page). I also think it will be a pretty awesome souvenir for baby in a few years.

After purchasing, I was pleasantly surprised that this tracker was created by a NICU mom! It is so easy to use and captures the most important information for my growing baby while in the NICU and beyond. Highly recommend this book to all patents!

Notebook will be extremely helpful to have. Unfortunately it was not packaged well and got wet, crinkled, and the binder rings bent during delivery.

One of the most valuable gifts we got for our first baby’s first months. This planner is absolutely fantastic and essential. I’m planning on gifting for several expecting friends. Using it as described took so much anxiety away from those first few days and weeks. I’d highly recommend!!
