Remember to put the nose pad on! Im fairly new to fpv flight. I have tried the emax analog with detachable screen, goggles n3 and the fat shark. The fat shark scout is by far my favorite. The emax is too close to your eyes and blurry. The n3, although digital and technically better image, pinches my nostrils and has latency. The Fat Shark is the most comfortable. Analog isn't as hi def as the digital stuff but keep in mind the screen is 3 inches from your eyeballs. You can still see pretty darn good. The 0 latency feels much better. Fat Shark rules!!!

I had been using an Emax analog box goggle and decided to try this one out. What a difference. The range and clarity is so much better as well as battery life. I had to 3d print an extender for the Emax goggles cause it was too blurry and looked like I was wearing a toaster on my face. The Scouts dont have that issue and look less ridiculous. Wish I had went with these the first time. There is a good amount of light bleed with the Scouts but it's manageable and not enough of a distraction to matter.

Fantastic picture quality for analog and much better range than what I thought it was going to have. Only have one issue, which may not be that way for everyone. The bridge of my nose is touching the glass as there is no cover/padding at the bottom of the glass. I would say I don't have a large nose, adjusted it slightly up and out of the way so it wouldn't be rubbing on my nose but the picture is now slightly blurry being not in view. Could be user error but have not figured that out yetLike I said other than that, great goggles(EDIT) I guess I was missing a padded piece for the nose area. Have it coming now!

They seem great, but I can't really enjoy using them as my glasses don't really fit and the lenses in the goggles focus the image outside of my clear vision range. I'd really prefer to not wear my glasses under the googles, so I might have to go with a more expensive option with diopter adjustments.

I have never been a big fan of the hyper expensive OLED goggles. I actually own the HDO2's but I have always wanted a quality box goggle instead. I have stopped using my HDO2's in favor of these. Box goggles have an unfortunate stigma due to the plethora of garbage versions that can be found on Amazon but these are actually quality goggles. They have a much higher screen resolution than other box goggles and they have a built in fan which is a must for cold weather flying to keep the screen from fogging. I like that the screen is in the top of the goggles with a mirror system that eliminates the need for a focus slider. It also does not use the typical Fresnel lens that most cheap goggles use which makes a big difference in image quality. It is also worth noting that although there is only one antenna connector the goggles do have a built in patch antenna in the front so you are still getting the same diversity you would get with most other goggles but you only have to screw in one antenna to fly. The battery life is pretty decent and it is easy enough to swap in an 18650 for longer sessions but it does lose the time setting if you change the battery however I don't even bother resetting the time when I change batteries. I have used many other box goggles in the past but none of them are even in the same universe as these.

After having researched a ton FPV goggles, I settled on Fat Shark Scout, primarily because they had great ratings, I could wear my glasses in the box frame and eventually get a digital receiver. The goggles arrived, but the LCD panel wouldn't turn on. I looked at their support docs, I went through the troubleshooting steps to determine the problem. LCD panel glows but won't turn on. It said to contact Fat Shark support directly. After THREE emails in over 10 days, I have yet to hear back from them AT ALL. I heard their tech support was great and responded quickly. NOPE. I will never repurchase Fat Shark.
