Very useful tool, pretty flexible for being mostly just a couple pieces of metal. The fit when locking together as the main tool is a bit awkward and it takes a little bit to think about, oddly, since you can easily disconnect the two halves if you're treating it like a normal wrench. Still, it does do the job ok when you're in a tight spot. Just don't lose the rubber inserts. It'll never stay together as one piece once those are gone.

I ride, give or take, anywhere from 12 to 20 miles a day on my bike from 2011.I stress the year because it’s to the point where spokes get a little loose and nuts and bolts go a bit wonky. The previous tool I carried in my bike bag was not designed for sporting equipment. If nothing else, it was one of those “jack of all trades, master of none” deals that converted like a transforming toy into something resembling pliers. And that’s why some of my bolts are a bit sheared off on the corners. Not only that, but after being exposed to moisture, heat and rain, it didn’t transform so well anymore. This little gadget (5.5 x 2.3 inches or thereabouts) avoids the magical finagling by including everything you’d need in one compact package. In fact, the only loose parts involve a set of bits you might use.On that topic, the bit holders are probably the only flaw in this design. They are rubber and are mainly held in by compression. Pretty sure I’ll end up losing them somewhere down the line.Good thing this comes with a plastic case with enough space to leave the bits outside their holders. The ad sums it up with a list that includes rulers (inch and cm), hex bolt wrench fittings, spoke adjusters, etc, etc.Otherwise, this is a stainless steel multi-tool with a black finish. Should last a good long time since there are no moving parts. Do be aware, though, this does have some heft to it. Lightweight it ain’t.Worth nothing, this comes apart in two pieces, just like the ad states; however, you have to remove the bit holders first. And that makes the two pieces loose. In a weird wall, you had better hope the holders don’t fail because they add stability to the overall unit. The only reason I dinged a star is because it comes with zero instructions, or at least mine lacked any.As for the price, I have seen these going in stores for $60 or more for something that looks very similar. True, you are not getting the ultra fit and finish of the $60 version, however, this one should do the job for the average bike rider.

Hahaa. It is good, though. I think it is quite clever how it opens up and becomes two parts, or flips around so that it is a wrench with a longer handle. Someone really thought this through. I know it is for bikes, but I think I'm going to just start carrying it around in my regular EDC. I am surprised how many functions are packed into this little lightweight tool. I was also pleasantly surprised that there is a little magnet in the bit holder so that your bit will stay put. And I like that I can have a cutting edge (even though it is not that sharp) just for prying or opening boxes. The bit holders being in place is what keeps this tool together. They are the standard bit size, so they can be switched out with whatever you need. There was a little oil on the parts but nothing that can't be wiped off.

Compact multi tools balance functionality with compactness. This one is remarkably functional for it's compact size. The bit holder is novel and holds the bit securely (magnetic) and provides good leverage. There were no instructions in the package. There are some prompts printed on the tool. Removing the bit holders allows the two halves to swivel apart. (Keep an eye on the the bit holders and bits.)A missed opportunity is the tool has two 6mm hex openings and no 7mm opening (there is a less secure 7mm span). A 7mm opening would allow it to be used on the bits two apply even more leverage. It is packaged in a re-usable plastic case, but a pouch would probably be more practical to fit in a pocket. The compact flat form factor makes it easy to squeeze into tight spaces. My other multi tools tend to be more block shaped.Excellent value for $8.

This little multitool is a must-have for any cyclist. It’s sturdy, lightweight, and packs all the essentials—screwdrivers, wrench, and more—in one compact design. I’ve used it for quick adjustments on the road and it’s held up really well. Great for tossing in a saddlebag or backpack. Also makes a great gift for anyone who loves biking or outdoor activities. Solid stainless steel and super practical!

I never wanted those swiss army knife styled multi-tool, as they are quite large and heavy. This tool folds very flat, which is exactly what I needed in order for it to squeeze under the 2 tubes I have stuffed in my miniature saddle bag. It has lots of hex nut sizes, which is not frequently used on bikes, except on maintenance parts. It only comes with 3 hex keys, which is pretty much what everything on a bike is fastened with. I might just take the 3 or 4 smaller hex bits I have from another toolset and wrap it with this set, since the bit holder on this tool is pretty standard.

The tool has a lot of different features which makes it pretty versatile. It seems pretty sturdy, but as a result is a little bit heavy. I think the two main things that I dislike about its design are:1) the rubber bit holders, which feel a little bit loose - I haven't stress tested them, but they feel like either the holders or bits could fall out with some movement, eg if you put them in a hip pouch while riding a bike2) the tool itself is pretty long (around 4 inches), so you don't have too much room to use it to tighten/loosen bits. On my bike, 4 inches is around the distance from my seatpost to the rear wheel so I can't use this tool to raise or lower my seatpost. Other multitools I've seen get around this by being significantly smaller so that you can maneuver them more easily
