This Fender pick shaped table is really cool. We have it in the garage my husband is converting to a sort of man cave but for anyone. He has a huge reclining live seat and this is the end table. It looks really great in there with all his big neons and vintage signs and vises (to clean and polish up for display. Yes collecting vintage vises is a huge thing I never knew about - B my husband, has a whole circle of internet vice and sign collecting friends. Even drove from IL to California to visit my kid in Mariposa. He did a side trip with my son, to Sacramento to hang out with his collector bestie.This is a tangent I know, but wanted to get y’all an idea how this was used. It is a lovely, substantial wooden piece and on the surface of “guitar pick” the Fender famous script logo. It awesome! Anyone into music would love this, especially people like me. Fender Stratocaster was King when I was going to concerts and festivals. I am of the Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Black Sabbath and so many more. This just reminds me of those days. Not just for young people who are into NOT-pop music though! Old hippies like me will get a pang of memory, and love this reminder of their rock and roll days. Mine rock and roll love has never ended.

Overall I like this a lot and it looks good in my guitar area. When I first opening it I got a very distinct smell of stain, which although was a bit strong, did make me feel good about the craftmanship of it. When complete it looks exactly like the images. If this came pre-assembled I probably would've given it 5 stars. However, I knocked off a star due to bad instructions and near splintering wood while tightening some screws.What I didnt like about assembly:Felt like they were out of order.Step 1: Attach braces to the legs. Which was incomplete in the image. The image only shows connecting one side to a brace when in reality the screws are designed to go through two braces and 1 leg at a time.Step 2: Attach the steel plates to the top of the legs. This should be step 1.Step 3: Attach the legs to the base via the previously attached plates.Step 4: Put the felt bottoms on the leg ends.Why would you connect the braces to the legs first, then screw on the plates and then attach the legs to the base? I followed the directions exactly and I ended up having a wobbly three-legged thing (I knew better than to tighten everything down) with steel plates attached wanting to fall in every direction. Then, when I went to attach the legs to the base, despite trying to get the whole thing flush, one end was raised a bit. It screwed down but still. Why not attach the plates to the legs, then screw the legs down, ensuring they're flush. Then attach the braces between the legs? The order in which they state in the directions puts unneeded pressure on the braces during the build and as such, as I was tightening the braces down, I noticed a splinter starting to form at the end of the brace. If you notice, the braces get thinner as they approach the end and that is where the screw goes. The splinter was heading from the screw joint to the end.If I where to do this over, ignoring the directions. I would screw the plates to the legs. Attach the legs to the base. Attach the braces and tighten them similar to how you tighten lug nuts on a car. A little bit at a time, going in a star pattern until everything it flush and tightened.

Well designed, easy to assemble, sturdy, and just an overall really cool item to have if you're a musician. I'm a Gibson guy, but I have to admit, Fender knows their customers and delivers every time.

I would have given the product 5 stars because it's a beautiful table, but because they only include one allen key wrench to put the legs and leg brackets together, I deducted 1 star. It would be next to impossible to put this table together without owning an extra allen key wrench to tighten the screws. Luckily i do own an allen key wrench set, or i wouldn't have been able to put the table together. I found that instructions could have been a bit more descriptive, but instead it's just a few pictures and what is included in the box. The quality of the wood seems very good. I was supposed to get the item for my birthday but it arrived 4 days late. So that is the other reason I deducted the 1 star.

Looks better than the pictures!It takes the weight of 350 lbs.Even the chubbier guitar player can sit on this with confidence.Great value or what it is.Class bit of kit from Fender. As always..

This Fender stool is a nice addition to any space. The instructions are straightforward, but there are a lot of parts for such a small stool.In any case, the stool feels surprisingly sturdy for being made of wood. I really like the pick design on the seat with the Fender logo—it looks great and adds a nice touch of guitar style to my place. Some might think it’s a bit pricey at $80, but you’re also paying for the Fender name, which is one of the most iconic guitar brands out there.Would definitely recommend it for guitarists/Fender lovers!
