Easy to terminate and is tough as a rock. Great cable.

The armored cable is a little thicker than a basic patch cable, though still has enough flexibility to go around bends. The pulling sock is glued on so needs to be cut away afterward, but that is shown beforehand so not a surprise and not an issue. It says the puller is reusable, and technically yes it is if it is cut away neatly, but it doesn't feel like it would hold another cable finger-trap-style as securely without being re-affixed. The split where the two fibers separate feels well protected.

Cheap spool cost me time both ends were available to pull. Making it tricky for one guy to pull. Then the spool came apart made huge rat nest...

The Fibergaga OM3 cabling is available in several lengths, and conveniently ships on a spool to avoid tangles. It's tough, but still quite flexible and easy to work with. The cable comes with a pull ring with a sturdy carabiner at one end to aid installation. This side also has a sleeve that prevents damage to the LC connector while its being tugged around.I used the 50M length for LAN connectivity in a larger house, and didn't run into any issues during installation. 10 GbE has been very stable so far.Overall, I can easily recommend this rugged OM3 cable from Fibergaga.

This fiber spool (for the length) was a lot thinner and more compact of a spool than I expected. That said, the armoring feels really good and I'd have no problems using this for a burial application or maybe in an attic. Had no problems negotiating a 10Gb link, so that's nice as well. If you just need a one-off run or a spare armored spool to keep around, this seems like a great option. What's also super nice is a pulling sheath/eye was installed so it'll be (relatively) easy to drag through a conduit, but I'd still grease it.

I was surprised to find that this actually comes on a spool and not just wound into a coil like most. It comes with a metal carabiner and pulling sock attached, for use with conduits or other pulling machines. The cable has a standard LC connector on both sides and as with most the strands can be switched for polarity if needed. Be careful when removing the pulling sock to not damage the strands or connectors. I do appreciate that this has a thick rubber layer - it's heavier duty than most "armored" cables I've gotten before. I wouldn't have trouble trusting that this would be ok outdoors (though I'd still recommend a conduit or such just for ease of changing out later if needed). It's a good cable and so far is working well.

I used this to run from one side of my house to the other via my attic, mainly to connect a switch used for PoE cameras. I don't believe I have any critters up in my attic, but I like that it's armored and even rated for outdoor burial just in case one decided to nibble on it.Speeds are as advertised, getting 10 GbE without issue and I can say this as it's coming off a 40 GbE switch. The pull through tab is a nice touch.5 out of 5 stars.

It works though the cable label number is backwards. I thought after my effort of pulling this 165’ long cable through conduit I had to pull everything back since it didn’t work. Turns out the label was backwards. Knocking 1 star due to this issue.
