I love these for keeping project pages together. I want to see what's inside. With these I can see pictures and colors clearly. They are not thick for greatest durability, but that's not what I need. They are fairly thin, lightweight but sturdy enough to keep my papers neatly together.

These are almost completely clear so the contents can be seen which is great for reports, etc. Sturdy enough to last for a while, light enough to punch holes in for a binder and cut at the top a little so it fits in a small 1" binder of printed references.I love them so much I bought more for homeschooling needs and printed books for homesteading references. I plan to buy again when we're low.

Believe it or not - i use them for playing outdoors and holding the music still in the breezes. They are great - clear and no glare from the sun.

I needed professional-looking clear folders for my business presentations. Getting the jobs depended on the attractiveness of my materials. After spending literally hours looking for a product like this, and being amazed at how hard it was to find, I took a chance on these. They were heavy enough to not appear cheap or flimsy, and clear enough to keep my marketing pitch easily viewable. Pre-cuts for business cards were also a plus.

Every single folder has a retail bar code label that requires chemicals to remove...almost impossible. if you're going to bulk pack 12 maybe you could lose the labels. Frustrating!!!

I've use hundreds of these to hold one-page and stapled letter-sized classroom handouts. Since they're clear I can slip a cover page that shows through on the left hand pocket. I usually load about 50 pages into them.They work great for my use since they're low cost, easy for me to get, and look professional enough. I'd agree with another reviewer that said they're thing and bend easily. They do. But, for me that's not a problem. If I was using them to store documents or for a very important presentation, I'd look for something heavier and higher quality.

While these are not your typical folders, I do like them. They are nicely made and can easily hold 80 letter size sheets (8 1/2 X 11) of 20# stock. They are completely transparent, and similar in weight to a heavy duty sheet protector. Don't let the words heavy duty mislead you. They are not at all rigid - they bend very easily. I would have preferred them to be a little heavier, but seeing as they are for my personal use, they will work just fine.The price was also a factor for me, and they were reasonably priced at $11.99 for a pack of 12.However, if you are in need of a folder that can take some abuse (one that you can just throw into your brief case) you'd best keep looking.Note: Since posting this review, I have found that you can insert a letter size manila folder into this folder. It fits with room to spare and it turns any folder into a two pocket folder. The plastic protects the manila folder, and the manila folder adds body to the plastic.

I purchased these folders for a business presentation. Not a good move. These folders are very thin (much thinner than I expected) and bend easily. In hindsight, I would only use them for organizing information vs. any sort of presentation or protection. And I certainly wouldn't use them to hold paperwork that shouldn't be bent. Other than the thickness, the construction of the folders is good.
