This flash is awesome, it's so fun to play around with. The spread is fairly narrow so you have to point it pretty accurately. Also the little remote part that attaches to the camera needs to be recharged often, if you leave it sitting for a couple weeks it will be dead. The battery life on the flash itself is more than decent though, I can use it casually every day for a couple weeks on a single set of AAs.It's not a PRO quality flash, the colors are just a little off, but for the price it's perfect for casual use.

I’ve got a Fuji X100V and while yes, it does have a built in flash, prefer the look of off-camera flash. This feels high quality and looks sleek. The controls are easy to learn and intuitive. I like that it comes with a carrying bag. I feel like it performs well and meets my needs.

I was looking for the smallest possible flash for my X100VI and stumbled upon this. I love that it can be used on or off body. It’s not as powerful or as fast as my Godox, but that’s more for work with my X-Pro2. This flash and X100VI set up fits in my sling bag that doesn’t scream “i have camera gear in here.”

Good power for a small flash that can be hand held off camera with very small rechargeable trigger.

I purchased this flash for use with my X100V because of the portability. Unfortunately the performance from shot to shot is so variable that I am wondering of the TTL is even working. Shots at f2 are almost always overexposed unless I am bouncing the flash off a wall behind the subject. I don't normally use direct flash, but it should give correct exposure when I do. It also underexposes at smaller apertures (5.6 or higher f-stop). I would suspect that the TTL is not even connecting, but I am getting the flashing amber light on the transmitter that tells me that it is connected to a TTL-enabled camera. I guess this is decent if small size is the goal and you don't mind trial and error exposure, but it has not been a great experience so far.

I had to return this flash because of the consistent connection issues that I had. At first I really liked the design of the flash, the way you can use the transmitter and detach the unit, but during a few sessions of using the flash, it kept disconnecting. At first it wasn't the biggest deal, I just turned it on and off which fixed the issue. After some more shots it just kept disconnecting. I tried resetting the pairing process, recharging the transmitter, but the problem still persisted. Ialso had a hard time connecting the transmitter to the flash unit which was also very frustrating. I could wholeheartedly recommend this flash if the connection issues weren't so apparent. The TTL works great when it is working, but unfortunately it isn't working a significant amount of time for it to NOT be an issue.

I just used this to photograph an event this weekend and it worked flawlessly. I used it in TTL mode with a Fuji X-Pro2 to bounce a flash off the ceiling. The results were amazing. I could adjust the flash power with the compensation arrows to dial back the power. I was holding the remote flash in my hand to "aim" the flash and this delivered great results. I wish they would develop a TTL version for my Leica!!
