My husband and I installed after watching several YouTube videos. They had to be gently pounded in with his hand to get them in securely. They were a little hard to manipulate. Taking out the bolt that holds the light in place and the plastic pin on the edge of the center body made this possible. Not all videos show the plastic pin. Necessary pin removal is needed to successfully install securely.

I bought these for a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix, thinking they would fit, but I was wrong. After reading the reviews, they claimed they were easy to install, but they were wrong. Maybe they fit a different year of Grand Prix, but definitely not a 2008. I work 6 days a week, so I haven’t had the time to install them, but when I did, I was very disappointed. I struggled for hours trying to get them installed, but no such luck. I did get the headlight plugged in, but the low beam lights are awful!!!! I definitely will be installing the old foggy original headlights that came original on the car because they work much better than the waste of money I bought! I wouldn’t mind if I was rolling in the dough and could afford to blow money trying to get something that worked correctly, but I’m not. Please, please don’t waste your money on this item because it is straight up JUNK!!!!!

Thankfully replacing the headlights on an '06 Pontiac Grand Prix is a breeze. Just a few bolts (not the plastic things like previous model years) and a little bit of muscle to wiggle them out.
