This mount is extremely heavy — in fact it is heavier than the TV I was planning to mount on my wall. With today’s nice flat screen TVs nobody needs anything this “industrial” and unless you want to risk ripping the drywall off your wall (even if secured properly to studs, as the instructions indicate), I would recommend something else.If you are hanging something larger than 70 inches, you should invest in a higher quality mount than this one, with lighter weight, better metals.If you are mounting something less than 70 inches, you don’t need this heavy of a mount.I don’t understand the use-case for this product. I wish I had picked something else.

I've installed around 4 or 5 wall-mounted TVs, and this mount kit stands out as one of the best.
