Ouch!After I removed the existing AC evaporator and removing the original expansion valve and replacing the O rings, I am NOT able to attach the largest valve to the evaporator (the tube that comes from the base of the core and points straightThe compression nut attached to the tube will NOT thread on to the largest threaded "arm" of the new expansion valve. It appears the bottom lip of the threads on the new expansion valve sticks out too far for the nut to engage and thread on to tighten.Really disappointed, So much time consumed trying to get this AC system repaired.
