I’ve never been a fan of shorts that come above the knee, but these are the first ones I’ve ever worn and like, the flexible material feels nice and smooth and not rigid at all while still feeling high quality. I also love the green that peeks through the little holes. True to size fit. Washed fine - didn’t shrink and colors held fine!

Yes, the sizing chart for these says if you have a 37-inch waist, you should order... 4XL. What? Yep. Nevertheless, I balked at ordering that largest size and took my chances with a 3XL - and I got lucky. The 3XL fits my 225lb, 38-inch waisted self pretty well.The shorts seem well made, with no loose threads/seams or other manufacturing issues I could spot. The shorts are comfortable, with thin/light but slightly stretchy fabric. I really like that the shorts came with zippered pockets, which I've come to love in recent years, especially on vacation. Note: The product page says these come with "a" zippered side pocket, but the shorts actually have two side pockets, both zippered, and a rear pocket that's also zippered. Very useful.I really have no complaints about the shorts, but think they'd likely sell more of these if they reconsidered the bizarre sizing chart.

These FoxQ athletic running shorts are super comfortable, quick drying, and are moisture wicking. The black with orange highlights looks pretty cool. These shorts are made of 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex. They stretch just enough and fir loose enough to give you full range of motion with no binding anywhere. These have an elastic waist and drawstring closure. There is a front pocket on each side and each pocket has a high quality waterproof zipper. I'm really quite surprised at the high quality of zippers that were used. Same waterproof zippers that are found on backpacks. I will be using these shorts mainly for hiking. But these shorts are for sure good enough to where anywhere.At the time of this review, these FoxQ Black Mens Athletic Running Shorts were selling for $19.98. Good price for a quality pair of shorts.

I ordered the "FoxQ Black Mens Athletic Running Shorts Quick Dry Lightweight Sports Gym Basketball Hiking Shorts" as I have shed some "winter weight" and my workout clothes are getting old and needed replaced. I ordered a size down from the old ones as some of my new pants were 1 size down as well. While I like the quality and the zippered pockets, these shorts aren't as roomy as some of the others, unfortunately. I think it will take another month on the elliptical before these shorts fit a little looser.Recommended but only if you don't need a relaxed fit.
