The standard "step one" is size 60/90, but this extra coarse size works really well if your stones are extra rough.

Works great for getting rid of outer undesirable layer of really rough hard stones like agate quickly. Just be aware that it will take quite a bit off, so check it often!

I bought several grades of this product and after running several loads of rocks of various harnesses and locations, the grit has a tendency to accumulate and clump up in the bottom of the barrel. to go through a cycle you have to look at it every day and bust it loose.
