We have cube units from Walmart and Costco. This doesn’t fit either of them. It is 1/4” too big. If I cut it down to size I will expose a raw wood edge.

I ordered this item to organize my jewelry, watches, make-up and hair tools. It was very easy to assemble with a screw gun. Took about 10 minutes. Screws are included in the package.I placed it in my closet. I used suitable boxes like drawers to store jewelry and make-up. When I was done, I was surprised how much stuff this little unit can hold! OMG! I was happy to see the clutter gone from the room and my dresser. The shelves are thin but the unit feels sturdy once assembled. (Please be aware that it is recommended not to place more than 4.4 pounds on each shelf so it is not suitable for heavy stuff. )I ordered white color to match my bedroom furniture. Product arrived free of any scratches or stains. I think the price point is reasonable for this organizer.

So, I should preface my review by admitting a mistake on my part. I didn't measure my cubicle size prior to ordering, and the product ended up being about 1/4" too wide to use inside mine. However, I feel it's stable enough to put it on top of the cubicle unit.Assembly was VERY straight forward and mostly simple for a single person (mostly because I didn't have anything the same height to hold the first shelf up while I started the screws), and once you get the first shelf installed, it only takes as long as it would take you to put the rest of the screws in with a screwdriver. I used my drill, as it's easy to control the speed and to save time, but I wouldn't recommend using a drill, since the screw can "get away from you", shift and go through to the outside. Everything needed to put this shelf together was included. With the exception of the Phillips screwdriver. However, can you really expect one considering the price?I've wanted one (a bunch) of these cubicle shelves for awhile now, thinking it would help me get the random stuff off of desktops and it has, I just wish I could get the "bunch" I want because it will take a bunch to get all my crap dealt with. Very much worth the price to reclaim valuable space in an office!

This item does not fit the ikea kallax as advertised. The Kallax has a cubby dimension of 13.25 square. The insert is too big to fit into the cubby, but could work if you wish to take it and cut it down on both pieces
