This is a tool for stringing a racket. For badminton, this is the best awl I have used. Better than Kimony or Yonex.The Gamma awl has a plastic handle that is very easy to hold. The grip is firm and provide a good solid connection. The actual tip of the awl is thinner than both the Kimony and Yonex counterpart. The much more pointed tip makes finding its way through shared grommets much easier. There is also a slight convex profile which helps nudging the open space wider for a string to go through. The price is also 1/3 of the other ones which makes this an excellent deal.
