Such a cute, unique, and fun piece of gnome decor. The gnome itself is well made, but there are a couple of things that I had to adjust though to make it work a bit better for me.I love the twine and vine leaf design for aesthetics as it's very pretty, but it isn't sustainable for a long term method of hanging, especially outdoors in a hard weather climate. To rectify this issue I fed a heavier clear fishing line throughout the vine leaf/twine, making sure to follow how the twine and leaf were tied on the swing seat, so that every area had the extra support.The gnome leans backwards so this was a little challenging as it was pulling the twine causing the gnome to lean too far so the front wasn't seen. Also at times it would pull to the side. I fixed both issues by tying a loop in the twine. I first lined up how I wanted it to be positioned and then tied the loop. Now the gnome sits perfectly and hangs securely enough to endure the harsh outside elements.Overall, I love how darling this gnome is especially when the wind blows, as it looks like he is actually swinging. I absolutely recommend this swinging gnome.

This will bring an instant smile, no matter where you put him. I was going to keep him indoors because I don’t think he would be safe in the severe winds we have here. But he doesn’t have to be eye-level…. So I’m going to set him up to where he’s only a few inches off the ground, and if the wind blows him down he doesn’t have far to fall. He’s made of resin, so the colors last for years. The rope is interwoven with an artificial vine so it’s strong but may not last as long as the gnome. The rope is firmly attached to the swing seat and threads up through the gnome’s hands. There’s a metal hook on the rope to attach to a nail or branch. The colors are simple, and almost blend in with outdoors except for the bright red hat and white beard; so when a breeze comes along he will be noticed. I have a small shepherd’s hook that he will be able to swing from easily, not far off the ground. He would also look great sitting in a small alcove. I may need to buy more, and would recommend to family and friends.
