Advertised as a NEW OEM part, but received a used part. Came with felt already on (new ones don't), and is dirty - dirt matches the tabs that hold it in the refrigerator, so this was used in a refrigerator for a long time to make the dirt marks on it. It also is an older part - the model number on it is not the one I ordered - it is the older part # that is no longer made. So my refrigerator is disassembled and I have to now wait even longer to get a new one.

This is a common GE freezer drawer fan assembly. If your compressor is OK and your refrigerator is cold but your freezer is warm, this might be the culprit.Note that this was shipped in an unlabeled plastic bag and not a GE box. Looks physically very similar to WR60X10340 (molded in white plastic) which GE website says has been superseded to this part number. Also note that this does not include the felt tape WR02X13734. I used 1" x 1/16" adhesive backed weather stripping (notched out with a razor blade to match) instead which worked fine. It may be possible to carefully remove the felt from the old fan and wrap it onto the new fan, but I didn't attempt that. Seems the only function of this is to damper noise when the fan assembly is mounted. This was a 5-minute, 1-handed installation without removing the freezer main door, if your arms are long enough. Just remove the top drawer for access to the cover. Takes a bit longer if you need to remove the main door. This is a common failure part and might be a good idea to keep a spare on-hand.
