Not true Turkish towels. Very thin, questionable absorbency without any warmth when trying to dry off. The tassels tangled up when washed. Very disappointed.The only reason this Item is getting 2 stars is due to you can sit on it while at the beach. Sand seems to brush off easily and you can always bring another different towel to use after getting out of the water.Do not recommend this product.

These towels are really nice, they aer soft and like a thin blanket, very comfortable to have draped over you in the evening or while at the pool in the sun, I did not notice any excessive lint production like other towels I have tried. These are nice and large and easy to wash in a normal load of laundry and dry in the dryer or leave it hanging and it willdry pretty quickly. I think these are really nice to take to the pool or the beach, they roll up pretty small given their large size and are easy to drape over your chair to air out between dips.

Sooo.... Turkish STYLE towel? but they're 70% cotton 30% polyester and made in P.R.C (aka China.).These are the flat weave style and visually similar to the genuine article. In my pictures I've compared side by side the two towels from this set, the green has been washed and machine dried, the blue is fresh out of the package, to the purple, which is an actual cotton hand loomed Turkish towel. You can see the style is similar, but these towels have a smoother weave and a slight sheen to them. That's because they're machine made (which is fine), and 30% polyester. They also have a bit of a slick feel to them, which changed but did not go away with washing. It's hard to wrap and tuck these around your body because of that slickness. They are very good sized towels, beach sized rather than tub sized. They also do a good job of drying you off, and dry very quickly themselves. If you need a lightweight towel to throw in a bag and use to sit on and dry off and drape over your bike to dry while you change, this is great. If you want that handmade feel and authentic vibe, look elsewhere.

There are so many uses for these handy towels! You can use them to dry off with, you can toss them down on the sand to sit on, you can wrap them around your shoulders if you get chilly, there are many great ways to use these! They're super soft and the colors are really pretty. They fold up compactly, wash well and appear to hold their color when washed. I've got one in the car that will stay there because they're so handy to have around!

These towels feel incredibly luxurious and have a classy look that stands out. They’re large, soft, and perfect for the beach or pool. Yes, they do get wet pretty quickly, but on a hot day, they dry up just as fast, especially when hung up. I love how lightweight and easy to pack they are, and the oversized design is a bonus. Great quality, and I’d definitely recommend them for anyone looking for stylish, quick-drying towels!

I have been using Turkish towels for years and love them! These are no exception—very nice towels. Turkish towels are not the thick, terry cloth type that you may be accustomed to. This particular type is a thinner cotton, polyester blend. They dry very quickly, and become softer the more they are laundered. I think they become even more absorbent after washing.Received a 2 pack of green and blue with white stripes and white fringe. The colors are beautiful. The towels are slightly oversized, and already pretty soft to the touch. They are so great to use at the beach—after drying off, just hang to quickly dry. Sand shakes right off. You could use the towels as a pretty sarong over your bathing suit. They would make a nice wrap on a cooler evening. I am using one right now as a throw on the couch—perfectly lightweight when the air conditioning is on during summer months.Even while writing this, I’m thinking of other uses for these Turkish towels! I think one would make a cute table cloth—maybe layer over tablecloth. I plan to keep one in the car for coziness during long road trips. My dog would like to snuggle up in one too!They are useful for so much more than just towels. I think since these are a polyester blend, they will be pretty durable and last pretty long. I’ve only washed them once so far, but I also think the colors will stay pretty vibrant.I think if you buy them, you won’t be disappointed.

This towel leaves a very thin layer of moisture on your skin which is great if you like to apply lotion after to provide better moisture for your skin. But many people prefer a towel that dries the skin bone dry like a terry cloth towel. It did dry my wet hair quite well, and did sufficiently dry my body from the dripping wet water from a bath. It is very large and soft feeling lending to it being used as a throw if necessary on cool evenings. The towel is well made and lends a very quintessential summer look with the stripes. Overall, not bone dry but still sufficient especially for the beach or pool.

Good quality, no flaw, simple cute Turkish beach bath towel.
